I'm firmed and enrolled today, I've been on a gap year and had my place for a year, got accomodation for Wessex and paid my deposit but just went on my enrolment page and for personal details it's said I'm living at home for term/local time? :| does anyone know why this would be? I'm worried now that I don't have accomodation :s would I have had my room number by now?

Just enrolled today online, staying at Student Village on a Law Course.

Need to sort out my student account asap though, didn't realise I would need a £250 deposit 10 days after accepting my accomodation! :s-smilie:

Hey, fellow Wessexian :biggrin: the address will only change once you've signed in on the day you move in - I checked this as I had a similar panic! But if it's listed as "Deposit paid" then you're good to go :smile:

I've been trying to log into the portal to pick modules etc but it's absolutely having my life atm - I have all the right login details but it's saying I am logged in as "Ademola Abass" - this is not my name. Will be calling up tomorrow, will hopefully get it sorted.

Haha, that is weird! My dad is trying to push me into business law because you can make the most there... more interested in family law though :s-smilie:

And yeah, only three weeks now! Just starting to grab all my stuff for uni now. Do you know if we have to bring duvets/pillows for our rooms or are they supplied :confused:

You bring all your own bedding or you can buy a bedding pack from your hall -£20 for a single, £30 for a double (if you're in Stenton and Mackinder with the bigger beds).

Don't think there's going to be too many of us, I think Reading tends to have about 8-10 doing the joint Archaeology courses each year :P

Where are you living?
I have no clue what a firmer is.

.... Someone going back to Reading?

I only got to see windsor and mackinder :frown:
Could anyone else tell me about the other halls,,,preferably a self catered ensuite one? Or does anyone think going somewhere like windsor is a better deal as its cheaper than mackinder yet catered!

=============

maybe Bulmershe Hall is another choice ,though it's far way from the Whitenight Campus ..but there are some buses. And it is cheaper than Mackinder..and 115-116 pounds per week..I guess:smile:
I'm firming once I get my offer! I sent it off about a week ago on a last minute fill-up as I realised I really wana go here! so I'm kinda apprehensive about getting one, I'm applying for law eep hope i get one :/

I'm 99% sure I'll be firming when they change my offer to unconditional (after checking my certificates)! I'll be doing Chemistry, haven't really decided which MChem to do though...
