No there are lots of different programs you can use. Basically windows media player is something that comes with Windows. On a mac you can use quicktime or even itunes to burn media files to a dvd -

Re: MAC HelpIf you have the file, secondary/right click it and go to "get info". Check the file kind, if it's not MPEG 4, download Handbrake, use it to convert the files to MPEG-4, and that way it will be compatible with most video players/editors.(Original post by Navita:))
