Hey, I have firmed UEA and weirdly enough I am also doing RS in one year! Which board are you on? I'm am notoriously unpredictable in exams, hence I am terrified!
    Ohmigosh, I'm not alone!
I'm on Edexhell! You? And yeah, me too! I do well in class and then flop exams usually... :sigh:

I'm on AQA for RS, but am on Edexhell (Edexhell-I like that) for History and they are atrocious! Yes that is exactly me, my head teacher calls me an enigma  But oh god do I want to go to UEA! I'm doing Scriptwriting and Performance so we're in similar-ish departments Which accommodation are you looking at?

:five: Lets buck the trend and get the grades for UEA! Scriptwriting and Performance looks like such a good course! I would have applied for that if I wasn't complete poo at Drama and I wasn't shy haha!
I'm probably going to go for the village. How about you?
All this talk is making me want to firm UEA right now but I still ned to figure out an insurance! Might screw my misgivings and go with Kent...

I'm doing Psychology, English Lit and AS and A2 RS. :sigh:

Hmmph! 'Twas a fluke! Nah, I'm worried about RS really. I've realised I can't answer any questions without my booklet in front of me!

Shut up Diamonddust! I'm being so negative!
    I WILL get into UEA!
I did OCR RS so I can't really help, but what helped me remember everything for my exam was writing it out over and over. So like what each philosopher said e.c.t

Sounds like an excellent plan haha, yeah it is my dream course. Ah cool. I'll probably go for campus ensuite.

I know what you mean -I only firmed 2 days ago, all my offers were identical which was a little tricky when picking an insurance! In the end I went for Goldsmiths purely because I figured that they were the most likely to be persuaded in that eventuality Why are you hesitating about Kent? (Not that we need worry too much, because we are going to get our grades and go to UEA )

That's a good idea actually, it works for Psychology! Going to have to go get some colourful pens!

I have no idea why I'm hesitating about Kent. It's good. But my brain's like 'But what if you end up GOING there??? Nooooooo!' I think that's the issue, haha. Kent's *good* but it's not amazing like UEA. I didn't see myself there in the same way I saw myself at UEA even though it was ok. And the year abroad looks amazing. But I'm not entirely sure about the course. I like UEA's one week we'll do this, the next we'll do this, finish it in your own time approach. Kent seems too 'taught'. I don't want to be taught how to write poetry (even though I'm **** so I probably *should* be taught haha), I want to figure it out with other people to help me if I get stuck. And Lancaster's creative writing course looks pretty similar to UEA's even down to the children's literature module () but they want higher grades than Kent and it's quite far from home...
Arrrgh! Just have to wait until April when I visit Lancs. But I just want to firm UEA and screw everywhere else! I like the way you think! We'll get to UEA! :five:
    I've always loved a challenge!

This. except girl you're going to UEA definitely! Who passed their Psychology exam with flying colours?!

I've got my firm, but it's my insurance that is sending me crazy at the moment. I think if my interview doesn't work out on Wednesday my insurance will be higher than my firm?!! O.o Just got to wait on Birmingham to reject/accept me then I'll firm UEA.

I love UEA and they are so sweet to email compared to other Unis, it feels like they genuinely care about you.

Can't we just skip to September already?!

I completely understand, UEA is just so perfect nowhere else comes close! That was exactly what I loved about UEA- as silly as this may sound it just seems so creative!Like they want you to take initiative and there is a lot of flexibility about what you want to write etc.

*Also I just have to say I love the quote in your sig (I take it you've been watching ahead too) - literally the cutest scene ever

Yep! I actually cried from sheer happiness for him! I was like yeah, I'm a normal Glee fan, I don't like it THAT much. Saw that scene and promptly signed up to a million forums and squealed on Twitter!

I need to get some motivation to start revising! I've spent all day watching Glee, missed my only lesson of the day on Friday... I need to fix up, man!

    Firmed UEA! :woo:
Decided to screw Lancaster when I realised it would cost £50 to get there and it was the biggest hassle ever so my insurance is Kent.

I was stalking the English applicant thread just now, I cannot believe that girls dad told her UEA was not a proper university! And who goes just on their parents judgement when deciding where to apply to? Anyone with half a brain looks at places themselves! I'm actually fuming that someone could say that, especially for English, as any academic holds UEA in high regard for its English courses.= my face right now.

I'm tempted to firm them too. Kent want me to go to an interview, and I haven't heard back from King's yet, but I'm not sure I want to even go to Kent. Also I'm sure King's will reject me. Can't be arsed waiting any longer!

Her loss! I was a bit annoyed, have to admit. *Most* parents don't know anything about universities even if they went themselves! Times a-changing and all that.

To be honest, let's face it. UEA isn't a university who's name is out there and in that respect, you can see people saying it's not a "proper" university. I don't agree with that statement, I think UEA has everything a university should offer, which is why I'll be having it as my firm.

By most people's standards, "proper" Universities are Oxford, Cambridge, UCL, Imperial and the universities in and around their areas. Everything else doesn't exist.
