Re: Warwick Applicants 2012Is this the same person that told you to apply to Oxford?(Original post by Jampolo)
My Oxbridge co ordinator is an elitist faggot. As he says that MORSE is for the elites or some **** lol. He's a bit of a weirdo sometimes, forgive me if its not.

Re: Warwick Applicants 2012Odd! I was under the impression that approx 50% of applicants get offers!(Original post by Jampolo)

Re: Warwick Applicants 2012The website says approximately 50% of applicants are invited to interview.. and apparently the interview isn't an interview, its a group thing where they say 'unless you're an axe murderer, you have an offer'.... so I'm hoping this means 50% application(Original post by Jampolo)
I hope thats true, i haven't seen any admission statistics for it though, have you?

Re: Warwick Applicants 2012I hope that isn't 4000 words?(Original post by Jampolo)
Did a wordcount on a finished PS draft - 4000 exactly. Smooth.
Have you checked the line count? My PS is 47 lines but only 3597 characters. -

Re: Warwick Applicants 2012Applicants per place is 5 (source is from 10/11 figures here, tables A1 and B1). So you won't see 90%+ getting an offer like in the Maths department, but yeah something like 50% sounds very reasonable, perhaps even more.(Original post by Jampolo)

Re: Warwick Applicants 2012I was going to suggest this earlier, but thought I'd wait till there were a few more people...(Original post by joshgoldman)
Can we smarten this thread up a bit? Maybe lists for each subject for who's applying?
Besides, OP doesn't seem to be on the thread any more

Re: Warwick Applicants 2012OMG someone else doing Politics and French?! Its a miracle(Original post by Iffy Standard)
OH
Subject: Politics and French
GCSE's: A*AAAAAAABBB

A2 Predictions: AAA

I honestly can't seem to find many people doing that combination and I get so many strange looks when I'm asked what I want to do
But anyway, for me...
Politics and/with French
GCSEs: A*A*A*AAABBB
AS: Politics, French, Eng Lit, History
A2 predictions: A* A B -

Well, I'd be happy to, unless joshgoldman really wants to do it. What if the OP suddenly came back though?
