Re: Warwick Applicants 2012Gonna try make contact(Original post by Beth1234)
*attemps to disguise glee at the thought of control*
Well, I'd be happy to, unless joshgoldman really wants to do it. What if the OP suddenly came back though?
(Original post by Beth1234)
I was going to suggest this earlier, but thought I'd wait till there were a few more people...
Besides, OP doesn't seem to be on the thread any more
(Original post by strawberryjellybaby)
Okay, before everyone goes on about it being too early, there are the Cambridge and Oxford applicants 2012 threads up so wondering who is considering applying in 2012?
So, what you want to study, any grades and anything else you think is relevant!

Re: Warwick Applicants 2012OH GOD. ITS ANOTHER ONE LIKE ME ON TSR.(Original post by Georgiana1605)
OMG someone else doing Politics and French?! Its a miracle
I honestly can't seem to find many people doing that combination and I get so many strange looks when I'm asked what I want to do
But anyway, for me...
Politics and/with French
GCSEs: A*A*A*AAABBB
AS: Politics, French, Eng Lit, History
A2 predictions: A* A B
yeah politics with french would be like my dream course 75/25 and still a year abroad? yes please! -
Re: Warwick Applicants 2012Yep! Really liking it so far. It's quite different from pure but I always loved probability in Years 7/8 (S1/2 etc.).(Original post by anyone_can_fly)
You're doing Stats too? I hadn't noticed!
Are you doing AH Stats? Or just AH Maths? -
Re: Warwick Applicants 2012Did maths last year, doing stats this year. What I like is being able to actually work out so many of those things where you idly wonder, "what are the chances of...". Oh, and our class is testing whether people can tell the difference between coke and pepsi using hypothesis testing tomorrow!(Original post by laughylolly)

But maths still wins for me hands down.

Re: Warwick Applicants 2012Haha, yeah. I love working out the chances of things happening. It's like predicting the future. We haven't done too much yet but I can't wait to get onto the more exciting stuff.(Original post by anyone_can_fly)

Re: Warwick Applicants 2012
Subject: Law
GCSE grades: A*A*A*A*AAAAAAA
A Level subjects: History, English Lit/Lang combined, Spanish (did Biology AS)
Predicted grades: AAA
Just wondering whether my GCSE grades seem good enough to be considered at Warwick? I know that of course it comes down to personal statement/references etc, but do I seem like someone who would at least be considered? -
Re: Warwick Applicants 2012Yes more than enough - some people on here are asking this question with only a handful of As and A*s.(Original post by JodPet)

Done finally! Sorry for taking so long, school had blocked studentroom when I got back so I was stuck until someone has craftily unblocked it
Nice to have you back. You almost lost control of the thread at one point...
