I know the course has the bits that i love (maths and stats) and the bits that i want to try but might not want to do a whole degree on (economics). i think i'm going to apply for MMORSE and then decide later on if i want to do all 4 years or just 3 (they said its easier to swap this way). Good luck to you too!! and have fun tomoro!!
Yeah thats what I'm doing too. I've done Economics for A- Level so the degree is pretty much a combination of all my A levels!
    Thank you

    subject: maths
    GCSEs: A*A*A*A*ABBCC
AS level: A physics, A chemistry
    A2 : A* maths
I'm doing further maths, physics and chemistry at A2
you think i have a chance?
You'll definitely get an offer (as will pretty much anyone else, within reason, that is applying for G100 or G103) but the difficult part will be meeting it. STEP is certainly not a walk in the park and I'd be willing to predict that they'll try to keep the standards of the papers up to as high as those from this past summer, which were probably the hardest STEP papers for a long time judging by the low grade boundaries and general reaction to them.

Having an A* in Maths A2 from year 12 is a good start, though, and with a bit of commitment (STEP becomes fun after you get the hang of it), there's no reason why you can't meet the offer. Best of luck.

We had an older guy, who refused to mentions the words 'Oxford and Cambridge' through out the whole of his talk, although he slipped up near the end He really sold the maths course, i liked MORSE as well, but not sure i could see my self living in warwick/leamington spa/coventry for a few years.

He annoyed me because he fiddled the RAE results (even though all universities do that it still annoys me).

Beautiful and useful was good, shame it wasn't longer.

My only Warwick problem is that I don't like the idea of having to commute every day in second and third year.

Bright green ones, by any chance? I saw some girl with bright green docs on in an accomodation talk. Now I need to buy some.

What did you think? I absolutely loved it... it's officially jumped to the top of my list.

I'm just outside London too, but commute into it every day and after an amazing morning at Warwick, Coventry gave me a sinking feeling. Only 20mins from Birmingham by train though and the uni looks great, as does the SU so I'm anticipating it won't be too much of a problem. The students I talked to said they tend to go out in Leamington Spa which, though not bustling, looks pretty nice.

    Yeah they are

I liked it though it has oddly made me want to work harder to get into Cambridge since the politics course had very little political philosophy background to it.

    Subject: Chemistry
GCSE: A*A*A*A*A*AAAAA and a B in Additional Maths, but thats a FSMQ
AS: AABB (Geography, Maths, Biology Chemistry respectively)
    Predictions: AAAA

Warwick will probably be one of my choices. :L I wasn't considering it before because of my AS grades, and when I went to the open day in the summer, I swear the minimum was AAA, but I went onto the website recently and now its AAB xD
