Whoever has an offer from Bath, SERIOUSLY consider it. Some students were earning £50,000 on their placement year.

You're not alone, just shows how difficult it is to get into Warwick! Have you got any other offers from elsewhere?

Some don't even get placements, though :s And you have to pay Bath £2500 in tuition fees ... for not going to Bath.

Sorry to hear this. May I ask where you have offers from and what your application is like? Did they let you know on a saturday? Bit weird...

I hold offers for Bath, Bristol and Southampton. I am predicted A*,A*, A, A for Economics, Maths, Politics and History respectively and I got about 4 A*'s, 3 A's and a B at GCSE.

Yeah they did on a Saturday at half 4, thought it was rather odd for them to do that.. Anyways, it's nothing to worry about really. Just need to concentrate on getting my grades for Bath or Bristol. Have you also applied to Warwick?

Ah, did Warwick give you a reason as to why they rejected you? What were your gcses, as levels and a2 predictions?

Rejected from Warwick for economics. Pretty annoyed considering it was going to be my first choice. Even worse that they held my application for so long.

I think I may just do the best I can grade wise this year and then reapply.

I haven't got rejected yet but it looks like it's on the horizon, I think a lot of people are feeling like that this year...
