Both excellent subjects. Hard to choose between them in the abstract. In your brother's position I would probably opt for Latin. Better to capitalize on his existing studies.

With sibling rivalry being what it is, he is far more likely to pay attention to
words from an independent third party like you !

Yeah, Birmingham has excluded Sociology from my offer! I have to get the As in the other three... which are seen as traditional subjects (english lit, history and french)

Weird... manchester hasnt excluded anything from the offer
