RBS Psychometric/Competency testing - Graduate Recruitment

Why bother with a post grad course - waste of time? 17-10-2016

I was hoping someone might be able to give me some guidence.

I recently applied to the RBS Graduate programme and have been invited to to an online test. However theer has been little information as to what the testing will involve. The email sent to me says it will be psychometric yet in another part of the page the test is refered to as competancy based.

Im just wondering is anyone had completed the test and could let me know whats involved and what types of questions will be asked - just clear up my understanding so I can better prepare.

I've already completed one for lloyds which was quite simple and the questions were very much situational - however I really have no clue as to what to expect for the RBS one.

Any help would be much appreciated.

    Hi Patel,

I am in a similar situation, I have received a competency test from RBS for its technology scheme 2013. I believe its not the usual SHL but at the same time I have no clue about what it might be. I will be really grateful if you could share your experience here.
