Hi, can anyone help me please!
I'm a postgraduate living in halls off-campus with RESNET in my room. It's my first year at Bath and am desperate to have access to dc++. It got me through my undergrad degree. I don't know anyone who has it and would be able to point me in the right direction. Will anyone take pity on me and help me to rediscover the joys of dc++? Thank you

    Welcome boop,

To access the DC++ network you need to follow the instructions on http://lol.laffo.net/viewtopic.php?id=3. You will need to enter a minimum of 1GB sharing or it wont connect.

It will work as long as by “RESNET” you mean the internal network and not just the connection to the internet. As you will probably have already seen, the Bath network is now only 10Mbps and as such, everything is rather slow.

Btw I didn’t think that RESNET extended to external residences – where are you?

Hope this helps you get through the year

I'm in postgrad halls. Won't say which in case BUCS can trace me..... They're scattered around the city centre. Thanks for the help. It's already stopping me from working... oh dear!
