    Thanks! I showed it to my "sparring partner" at my local (chess) club - he thought (quite rightly) that ...Bg4 instead of my ...Bd6 was a much stronger move.

    If any of you guys are interested ,there is a chess meetup via chess.com on 16 th april to play casual chess games in london..

    Posting to subscribe. Been out of the game for a while, was BCF 140 when I was 16 but then A-levels and uni got in the way and I stopped going to tournaments... may get back into it soon.

    Bath has a pretty good chess team right ? Im sure you could have got in with your rating.

    I think I'd be at a middle-low board at the standard I'm playing now, I don't think I'm playing at 140 anymore. If I played a couple of hundred games over the summer I might get close, but I'm busy with American football most days of the week.

    Sounds good! Where is it being held?

    I think London could do with a chess park. Along the South Bank would be ideal! Or in Hyde Park or something

    Why have I just found out about this now? .. How do I join?
