Student Loan

Hey there guys I'm hoping someone could help me with my predicament.

Basically, my parents income is only £24,500. When I look on the student finance calculator, it says I am therefore eligable for a £3,497 maintenence loan. However, if my parents were to earn more I would be able to get a larger loan? Is this because I will get given a grant? If so how much and how do I apply?

My final question is - would I be able to apply for a larger loan as well as still get a grant/bursary? Because otherwise I am unsure as to how I am going to afford somewhere to live.
If your parents' income is as you say and you apply for an income assessed loan you will get a maintenenance loan of£3564 and a maintenance grant of £2906. You should also qualify for a university bursary. Rates differ from uni to uni
That's all you're entitled to.

You don't.
You apply for an income assessed loan.
Your folks provide proof of income and if you qualify you get a grant.
