    just wondering if you get an offer and you accept it do you have to take it even though somebody else may offer a better placement? thanks

    You don't have to take it, no. The only issue may be if you turn it down and then want to take it up again. Mine was the first offer I got which I took in case there was no better placement.

    From what I've been told (and kind of common sense really) it looks very unprofessional if you turn down a placement after you've accepted. Especially if it's a company the uni has links to it doesn't reflect back very well on them and future students who may apply for that jobs from Aston.

    On the other hand, if you get an offer from a brand name e.g PWC, then of course you will consider going back on your original offer (if legally possible)
