hello i am studying maths, chemistry , geography and am self studying economics.
in jan i got
chem - 80 grade A
maths - 90 grade A
i would like advice wether i should do as further maths next year as i would like to do an economics degree......
or if i should try and do the whole a level in further maths
thanks in advance.
You will probably not have time to do FM to A2. AS will be fine for economics.
If I take as fm then which modules shall I take . I herd d1 is easy but what is mechanics like... Thanks.
I assume you're taking S1 this year and S2 next year. M1 is OK, I found it easy since I did Physics. You'll find it harder but it isn't too bad.
D1 is easy but grade boundaries are often very high. There's a lot of actual content to learn and you have to be really really precise in your working. There's hardly any pure maths in it so it's hard to say how you'll find it from your C1 UMS.
