Hi.

I'm doing a project on black segregation and i got a question i can't answer. It's during the time after Martin Luther King JR. died and the question is:

What obstacles did blacks have to overcome?

PLEASE HELP ME!!!

Unhelpful White House; Nixon was not a huge fan of the civil rights movement and did little to benefit it.
Black Power - gave the civil rights movement a bad name --> loss of support of many moderate whites as they were banned from membership of the movement.
Generally overshadowed by other issues - Vietnam was a major one.

Those are a few basic ideas, surely you have covered this though ro else you wouldn't be doing work on it?
