    Can someone direct me to a picture of ethyl methanoate please

    I've drawn it in the attached file ... think it's correct, but maybe someone else can confirm.

    The picture you have drawn isnt quite correct as the carbon to the left hand side has 6 bonds. There should only be one hydrogen on that carbon. I have also included a 1H NMR of the compound and if you would like a 13C NMR then I will be happy to put that up as well.
