    housing at the GSA
    Hey everyone,

I'm a Canadian international student who will be attending the GSA next year to study architecture.
I'm trying to fill out my request for student accommodation, but I'm having trouble ranking the different residences. I don't know anything about them or their location, as I have never been to Scotland, let alone Glasgow, before.

Does anyone know which residence halls are the best/ have the most space?
Which residences are reputed to be the best?

I've watched the videos on youtube of the layout of the rooms, but I want to know more about the atmosphere of the space.

    Thanks

    Depends what you want,
Margaret Macdonald is 2 mins walk away (in a really nice area) the rooms are bigger than the old school house, but the kitchens/living space are much lovelier at the school house. (the old school house is 2 mins away as well). There tends to be more clicks at the school house, and MM seems better for first year (in my opinion) but the school house has better parties.

Both are good for socialising, room size and atmosphere.

So basically I can't go wrong! thanks so much for your input, I just needed some reassurance that both residences were good and not complete **** holes.

Also, does anyone know if residence allows any kind of pets? I have a little rabbit named crayons that I would like to take with me, I don't want to leave him in Canada if I don't have to.

    Hey again, no pets allowed

You will have a problem finding a privately rented house that will allow animals as well.
