what a Faff. First time, got nearly all the way through the exam. Laptop crashed and stopped recording. So had to come back later to redo the entire exam again with two new stimulus cards. Got originally told, come back a 3.05, then got told 3.45, then eventually dragged out of biology at half 3. Stimulus cards the second time were awful.

:hugs: At least it was stuff all out of your control! Stupid exams, why can't unis let you in on your PS/interview?

i agree. What made it worse is, it'd already crashed quite early on in another girls speaking exam, but she'd only done the stimulus card. When it crashed in mine, sir looked like he was going to cry. Which was awful.

Oh god, though I suppose it'll give good ground for a re-mark if you want one when results are in.

mm. I've already had all the paperwork sorted out of special consideration - if I'm eligable/ informing the exam board what happened. we saved the first one just incase AQA wanted to see it. ok, hear it.

but now the exams officer/ my old maths teacher knows about my exam, my bio teacher knows, my other german teacher knows how bad it went. She opened her mouth to speech to me, preempted her question and just went 'Couldn't have gone worse if I'd actually tried.' So they'll all want to know how it went. And knowing sir, it'll get mentioned in the staffroom.

Yeah but they all know that it's not because of you! You know that this is silly-ED-paranoid brain talking and not rational!.snowflake.? ED brains are as irrational as two year old contestants on Toddlers and Tiaras after a few cans of Red Bull (can you guess what I've spent the evening watching?).

I was once in a mock exam where we were all given the marking papers so the answers were in the back... Funnily most people didn't bother reading through the paper fully to notice.

no. definately rational brain despite what I've eaten, stuff goes round the school very quick because its so small. My head of year got told about me buying the set text for our A2 exam and reading it before we'd returned after our AS exams. Already been asked by exams officer how it went and been told he's sorted it all out with the examboard.

So it's just the attention you don't like? I fail at reading comprehension (bodes well for my Lit degree). That is perfectly rational and now I feel pretty stupid! Just ignore them, I'm guessing that the school's really embarrased about the exam problems.

Yes. It's the attention I hate. Exams officer wanted to make sure i knew what was going on special considerationwise. I'm apparently good at that, even in a foreign language where 50% of the words meant nothing to me last year. My speaking and essay writing skills are... wonky to say the least.

I always think that speaking and essays are way harder because you actually have to think for yourself and formulate more of a response. It's hard enough to do that in English let alone German! (Am half German but all I can do is swear and do little baby talk stuff, nothing that you'd actually use in polite conversation. Languages are my favourite... stupid brain not being able to keep up with aspirations.)

Embarrasingly, all of my german swearwords are from films...

German swearing is so much more satisfying than Engish swearing, it's something about the accent.

Back on topic, I have found my new greatest trial in the recovery from the ED. My therapist has put me on a 4000-calorie week/fortnight (dependant on the results) because I am being refused return to work without reaching the weight goals.

Even though I won't be beyond 18BMI at 8 stone, it's my milestone.

But this 4000 calories per day is proving to be utterly agony both physically and mentally! I struggle on. And when the therapists and health specialists say, "short term pain. JUST EAT BISCUITS!" - you KNOW we've reached that point in the day!

-squidge- Are you still all 'COME AT ME BRO' to the chocolate.
I haven't posted in ages but I don't know who to turn to for support at the moment.

I feel so alone and at the end of my tether. With it being exam time I need to pull myself together and feel that I just don't have time to be making doctors appointments and all the rest of it.

What's been happening recently

Spoiler

Any advice would be appreciated...

:hugs: I'm not going to bother lecturing on the eating basically nowt, then having days where you'll eat everying, when I'm doing it myself. But I will say please, please, PLEASE stop with the laxitives. You wont do your insides any good, as after a while your body forgets how to function without them.
