Student Finance - Upgrading from FD to BA

I need some help, please!

I'm currently on an Foundation Degree course which runs Jan - Dec.
However, my last and third year upgrades to a BA Hons but it is still the same course that still runs Jan - Dec.

My question is, how would I apply for finance? I'm applying at the minute and I'm on the 'your course' section and it's giving me the "Are you continuing at the same university or college and on the same course that you were on in the academic year 2011/2012" question.

Technically, yes because the course is the same as before but technically no because it's not an FD anymore???

HALP. What do I do?!?!
If you're applying to top your FD up to a BA then you'll need to apply as a new student on a PN1 form for new full-time students and send in all the usual evidence. You can download the form here if you want to http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/EducationAndLearning/UniversityAndHigherEducation/StudentFinance/DG_194466

The question you're referring to is only on the form for returning students which you shouldn't be filling in for the course you'll be applying for.

But the answer would technically be no, as you're going to take 1 year of a BA.

Kind regards.
