I've applied there too, and I really hope I get it, as it's just down the road from the Music Dept. I went there on Open House day, and although the rooms looked small, the bar was really big, and it looked really social. What I liked about it, was that is was right off Oxford Road, but once you were through the gates it was dead quiet and nice with greenery, and they had guards about, so I felt really safe

AB is Aberdeen House, 01 is the house, 02 is the floor and 012 is the room. Or 02 is the house and 01 the floor, I'm not tooooo sure about this one. There are pics of it if you look for Aberdeen House on this forum

Moss Side is fine. If some people hadn't been all 'OMG, Moss Side, we're all gonna get shot!!!11!' I would never have thought it was 'unsafe'. As it is, the police did a massive clean up there years ago and it's fine.

Plenty of my friends lived there last year. Except the dodgy ice cream van in the middle of December, I don't think it was worse than anywhere else.

Hey, im thinking of applying for Whitworth park in september and am a bit curious as to how the single sex areas work. My boyfriend would come to stay for a day or two with me when i start at uni, but would he be allowed to stay with me in a single sex flat? Thanks for your help
