Re: Architecture Applicants for 2012 entry (& Offers - for when they're given!)Not for everyone.. I know many people at my college who got much less than this at AS and are being predicted the same.(Original post by pongalo)
150 points isn't much. CCC is 240 points, DDD is 180 which is easily do-able so dont worry -
Re: Architecture Applicants for 2012 entry (& Offers - for when they're given!)
Good to see lots of people considering architecture! Thinking of putting down manchester but does anyone know if they require an interview as keep getting conflicting answers.
Hopefully applying to:

Re: Architecture Applicants for 2012 entry (& Offers - for when they're given!)
After attending an Architecture summer course, I'm very interested in this field and want to apply for 2012 entry. My predicted AL results are A*A*A*A* in Phy, Chem, Math & Further Math. I havn't studied art subjects but only some short course. During my arch summer course in the uni, I learn some technique for drawings and making 3D models.
In this circumstances, do I have chance to study Arch? Which universities should be better for me to apply? -
Re: Architecture Applicants for 2012 entry (& Offers - for when they're given!)Grades wise your perfect to apply anywhere really - including cambridge.(Original post by ultra_man)

Regarding the art based subject. Most uni's would just want to see a portfolio, go to the art department at school/college and ask them if you can have some help making one, maybe come in at lunches/after school to create it.
I think you will be fine to apply for Architecture, maybe up your knowledge with some of the programs? And show enthusiasm in your personal statement.
However before you start any of this make sure it is 100% the profession for you read the topics on here. Quite a lot of people get put off once they hear the 'real' side of studying architecture, and progressing into the industry
