Let me clarify here, cos I think i know what is trying to be said but its coming out wrong. Westminster does have A LOT of asian students. Personally i loved how i met people from all over the wordl in london and at westminster uni, but a bit more balance woudl have been better. There is a huge amount of asian students and although its cool to meet em, they stick to their own community ALWAYS. But hey , this may be for various reasons. But the student bar, the dragon bar, my god, you go in there and there is nothing BUT asians!! And thats crap cos i felt like I was the one out of place in my own student bar, thats a really crap aspect.

But on the plus side, there are peopel from all over like i said, and you definately would make friends from various places. I had asian classmates and it was cool to talk to them, although we never really socialised much.

The uni sucks actually, not the people so much. Its a commuter uni, people come from their houses with their mum and dad or something, and go to uni then go back home and social life around the uni is non existent. Its real hard to get a proper student feel there, its not that great for making acquaintances. The facilities are awful i think. The libraries look small and crappy, but its probably cos they have seperate libraries for seperate schools, which i hated. Its already split up enough there. you will find yourself waiting for a pc alot. You can go to Well's street to the computer labs there but they are absolutely crap PCs, old and dirty, and the damn lab is one floor underground so there's no sunlight and its not inspiring at all. They dont have enough books either, a survey found the uni spends one of the lowest amounts on books actually.

And lastly, and not essential but it was a MAJOR ANNOYANCE to me. The elevators in regent street campus are ALWAYS ALWAYS broken. They work for like, a day, then you come back and they;re busted again. I swear i almost complained about it but thought i would sound daft so didnt. It's a major pain in the ass wen you come in in the morning and you've got 5 text books to return after your first class, which is inconveniently up about 7 flights of stairs and the lift is broken AGAIN.

Some people like it there, but to be honest it is pretty crappy. Check it out yourself and most importantly remember what it is you want in a uni and see if it has it.
