Can someone please guide me how I would tackle this type of question. Thanks. :frown:

Consider its horizontal and vertical motion separately.

The main thing to consider is that horizontal motion and vertical motion are independent, so that you can treat them separately. The vertical motion always has a constant acceleration because gravity is pulling it down with a constant force, and the horizontal velocity is constant because after the ball is released, there is no acceleration in that direction. For the first part, you can use the fact that horizontal velocity is constant to calculate how long it takes to travel a horizontal distance of 57.6m, so p is simply the distance divide by the time taken.
