I love Family Guy, I actually think some of the later seasons are funnier as I prefer Stewie's new character much more. I'm not really a fan of American Dad, I watch it occasionally but I only Rodger tends to make me laugh.
ETA: One thing I don't like about the newer episodes is that some of the stuff is just done for the shock value rather than the laughs.
Because, you know, it does actually makes some people laugh. >_> -

Re: What do you guys think of TV shows such as...I used to like Family Guy a lot, but after the first few seasons it really went downhill. I only ever watch reruns, not the new stuff. This goes for American Dad as well.
Seth MacFarlane just grew a big head and stopped putting in much effort. -

Family guy is great and a disagree that it got less funny after series 3. Some of series 9 is brilliant (Watch 'Road to the North Pole') although there is the occasional poor episode.
I love american dad as well but less so then family guy.
Cleveland show is nowhere near as good as the other 2 shows imo but does provide the occasional laugh.
Family guy > American Dad > Futurama > South Park > Simpsons > Bob's Burgers > Cleveland Show
Personally, I find American Dad to be ****. Roger and the fish are soooo annoying.
Family Guy is absolute class. I still prefer Simpsons and maybe South Park too. Bob's Burgers is hilarious too. -

Family Guy and/ or American Dad? Do you think find them funny or just a waste of time? Obviously I know its subjective, but why or why not do you like these programmes? I had a discussion with my sister about it and I just wanted to see what you guys thought. Thanks
Family Guy... I've seen about 2 episodes of it when it was first broadcast on UK television and a handful of clips on youtube since then. It's just incredibly stupid and not funny. I find the characters voices are fairly annoying aswell. It's beyond my understanding how anybody can laugh at the "jokes" in that poor excuse for an award-winning comedy series.
I laughed my ass off at the piss take South Park made of it, though.
