Epic OTT action films
I love watching over the top action films, with a ton of killing, bloodshed, car chases and hot women. I don't care how ridiculous they are, in fact the more ridiculous the better. The plot doesn't have to be amazing, as long as it is good. Examples of what I mean:
Death Race
Shoot em up
Crank and Crank 2
War
Commando
Ninja Assassin
I have a few more but can't quite bring them to mind.
I am not looking for spoof or parody films like hot shots.
Stuff like the Bourne films and James Bond are very good, but not really the sort of thing I am looking for, suggest them anyway though

Kung Fu Hustle - 'tis more fantasy action, but still 
John Woo's two classics 'the Killer' and 'Hard-Boiled' are straight-up ridiculous bloodbaths and are awesome.

Since I just finished the DVD: RED!
Taken is alright, the main guy in that shoots virtually every person he meets.
I'd recommend Ong-Bak.
