Re: Post a pic of your prom dress thread!
Ive already got this for my next prom because I fell in love with it and it was on Sale for £40!!
And these, they were also on sale for £60 which is still really expensive for me, but they were £120 before. Love love them:
I hope to be adding a ring and possibly a bracelet, but not so sure because my entire budget was £100. May beg a few extra quid from my parents though

Re: Post a pic of your prom dress thread!
I'm old and it has been over 4 years since my last prom.
On a similar note though, I see people have been showing forever unique dresses. I love forever unique. This is the dress I wore one week ago for my uni Sports Ball (a formal ball with a sit down dinner and a dance, and prize giving for sports teams and sports players etc... so like a less tiara filled prom with a LOT more wine... so hungover the next day).

As for the story behind it, I saw it on ASOS in December, didn't have any reason to buy it and wasn't sure it'd suit me, that and it was bloody expensive. Then a couple of months ago I saw it on ASOS again and started considering it, as it had been discounted. I dreamt about it (I do this sometimes, always helps with decisions
) and I decided to buy it but it had sold out in size 6. It kept going on and off asos in my size and I kept deciding and undeciding on it. Eventually I decided on it but it had sold out completely except for in white with red jewels and I wasn't as keen on it in that colour. So I began a search for it. I couldn't find it anywhere on the internet and it wasn't on the actual forever unique online shop. Eventually I turned to ebay to look for other forever unique dresses and on like the 9th page I searched through it was there, in a size 6, and £70. I showed it my mum for confirmation that it was nice and she said she liked it so much she'd buy it for me (win). Luckily, nobody else bid on it
So yes people, ebay is the way forward.

Re: Post a pic of your prom dress thread!WOW! Absolutely gorgeous!(Original post by chloenestea)
I wanted something elegant and simple, and when I seen it I had to get it! My proms on the 14th June and can't wait

Not sure what shoes to wear with it though..
I think something like deep red would look best for this dress. Possibly black if you're not willing to take the risk. But I could definitely see it with red heels. Im sure you'll look amazing in it whichever you choose

Re: Post a pic of your prom dress thread! That last dress is gorgeous(Original post by StarsAreFixed)
Love prom/debs dresses. Seems to be slightly more casual in the UK- the average debs dress here costs €400, not even joking. They are usually slinky backless ones with diamante straps. Nice, but boring after a while. I went to 2 debs, the first dress cost about £25 online, the second cost about £130 converted and received endless compliments. Short dresses are not common at all, you'd struggle to find more than 5 at one.
