Re: Radio 1 DJs that get on your nerves?Aye exactly! I can't stand music radio, Radio 4 is a little high-brow, and talksport is utter gash. Don't get me started on local radio, either...(Original post by LiamTheKook)
Oh no, I am a regular listener. Refreshing to listen to something where they don't go on about utter rubbish. Unless of course Dwayne Chambers is on Fighting Talk. -
Re: Radio 1 DJs that get on your nerves? And that is the beauty of iPlayer & now R4Extra(Original post by EssexDan86)
Radio 4 is really good for in depth analysis of news, political, economic, geographical stuff etc actually. It also has some really good comedy programmes, like 'Just a Minute' The Now Show', or 'I'm Sorry I haven't a Clue'.
However, it also has some ridiculously boring radio plays, and documentaries on random dull things, like knitting needles or 18th century light opera. It's something you can dip into where there's something itneresting, but to leave it on all day would probably drive you to sleep.

Re: Radio 1 DJs that get on your nerves?I don't mind Scott Mills, yes his dialogue does rely a lot upon whatever sidekick he has at the time, but he's pulled off some pretty funny prank calls in the past!
