I used to go on Miniclip all the time in primary school when we had 'golden time', which was an hour on Fridays where we could do whatever we wanted but nearly everyone chose to go on the internet in the computer room Other websites are Myscene, Bratz, Bebo and Myspace.....those were the days lol

Now generally defunct nerdy/techy sites, many of which I can't really remember well.

I still visit a fair few of the sites I used in my youth though... It's not far off the six year mark since I joined*one forum/community I'm still quite active on.

Definitely piczo, I spent hours trying to make it look like a 'real' website

And obviously neopets. That was like the best website ever! Though, I was a terrible owner; I kept forgetting to feed them :L

When I was younger there were no websites but I used to hang on Monochrome BBS quite a bit. In fact there were quite a few systems I used to belong to - one in Finland, one in NY but I can't remember their names.

Downloading stuff by FTPing to wsmr-simtel20.army.mil was always fun until it closed.

When the web started to emerge I guess AltaVista was my search engine of choice. Other than that I try to forget the era when this passed for website design:

I just logged on to Neopets, my 'pet' is 3692 days old, over 10 years, and I haven't been on Neopets for about 8 of those years, yet my pet is 'dying' and not 'dead'. Wow. He makes Ghandi seem like a lightweight.
