Silly Student Finance question but have I got it massively wrong??

Ok so we all know the deadline is 31st may 2011 to get your money on time but does this mean you just have to send it all in by then or actually get it processed and finished?


I cant apply yet til the 6th or 7th may because I need to cancel my old application to start a new one for a new uni/course so I'm freaking out here.

You just need to have your application in and all the evidence they need to process it in by 31st May. They don't need to have processed it by then, thats why they have the deadline. To give them time to process the application before the start of term.
