However i've been asked to visit the medical centre when I go for my briefing because they read on my medical records about chronic knee pain in the past!! It doesn't bother me any more but do you think this will hold me back?? And also recurrent tonsilitis even though i'm having my tonsils removed?! Cheers for any help!

With applications to the forces you ARE lying if they don't ask you.
Get your knee checked out by a doctor with an x-ray if necessary. Just because you're having no problems now, doesn't mean you won't get them during training at Sandhurst - which is supposed to be pretty damn tough.
