1 mark off on a in the January paper, I'm doing the Odyssey this time around, hopefully it'll average an A overall.

Tip for those doing Cicero, don't make the same mistake as me, and write too much for the extended answer and shorter essay.

I think everyone avoids kinda post assassination...anyone know what the grade boudaries are like? Like are they high?

And anyone doing the Iliad next week?
I think they're quite high unfortunately - About 55/65 for an A- a great amount of people resit it, and get good marks the second time! Just missed an A in my mock (which was a '11 paper- totally ran out of time ) At least I know to be more concise now though! - as did all of my group :P Doesn't sound that high, but the marks you lose on essays add up very quickly.
    For a B around high 40s.

I really hope a Cicero-Caesar is the essay q, I think that would be a really good one!

    And yup doing the Iliad!

I looked through the boundaries (for Cicero) from 2009-2012 and they're all in the region of 41-51(mainly 47-51).

    How did everyone find it?
Disliked and messed up the 10 mark province question, but I found it alright overall, nearly ran out of time though writing the Catiline/Verres essay!

Yeah I thought the paper was fair

I did the 1st question on the 30 marker and thought that was fine too, what did other people think? And yeah I was quite short on time, but just managed to finish!

section 1 (1st option) was alright but I didn't give myself enough time for section 2 (1st option) and had to stop writing after the formation of the 1st triumvirate (although I feel like what I wrote was sufficiently detailed).

I only had 30 mins for Section B, but managed to cram every bullet point in (just) :P
