Affect of savings account on application

Hi all,

I have just completed my application and under unearned income, put an amount roughly equal to my expected interest from my savings account. This account has a not-insignificant amount of money inside; will this affect my loan application? I want to keep this savings available for me once I finish university rather than using it to support myself through uni.

could affect your maintenance loan. All depends on the amount of unearned interest we're talking about.
It will probably affect your maintenance loan/grant.
Do you have to put interest payments down on student finance? I didn't have a clue :/ :/
er yes, that's what they mean by unearned income.
Thanks for the replies. The amount of unearned income is only £300. Is it that amount, or the actual amount in the savings account itself that will affect the application?
it is the £300. Won't make any difference at all.
