Will UNIS know that I've completed my A-LEVELS over 3 years?

Being honest is always a good start.

If you can show that you have mended your ways and made real progress, the chances are that you'll be fine. A strong PS should help, so make sure you've checked out any advice the unis offer on what they look for in one. See QMUL - History PS Advice for instance :smile:
