I went to an open day for the university, couldn't say how good it is, but it has a really clean, modern feel to it.
I go to the city quite often as I live fairly close by; it's not anything like Manchester, Leeds etc. it's much smaller and more quaint, but in a good way. It has a nice feel to it. If you're into the more cosmopolitan cities, it's probably not for you, but if you appreciate it's prettiness and charm, then it's a nice place to be.
So you live near Lincoln but go to Durham, and i live near Durham but go to Lincoln?

Lincoln's nice if you like fairly small, quaint places but it doesn't have a Zara, Gap or H&M D: Also Odeon tickets are ridiculously expensive, they cost nearly £4 more than Odeon Hull (check the websites out if you don't believe me). Basically because there's no competition there for the Odeon, they charge higher prices.
Lincoln's great if you like primark and cinema tickets on orange wednesdays with a student card are £3. Can't complain.
