Hey guys!


OK..so it has come to the time where I have to think about what collge/sixth form I want to go to in September. I have a sixthform in my school but I am re-taking...so I would be in the year below with the peeps from my school, while my friends are in the year above So I have considered Richmond! I'd want to study Sociology, Religious studies and not sure about the other two. Are the lessons good there? isit distracting, noisy teenagers? and how is the atmosphere isit friendly? easy to make friends? and good clubs? caring, helpful teachers? Just wondering, trying to convince the parents. I think it would be a nice move, help me be more independent! and use trains more So tell me how is RUTC?

I know this was from ages ago but thought I'd reply. RUTC is turning into a bit of a dump, the constants strikes, the debts and money cuts have lead to all the good teachers taking "voluntary redunancies" as they have better jobs elsewhere and the surrounding area is building more sixth forms so there will be a lot less students attracted next year.

On a personal note, I am glad I am leaving this year before all this happens but I have liked studying there. I heard a lot about "gangs" which turned out to be rubbish. Most of my teachers have been good and really lovely. I have had two completely crap teachers who couldn't teach at all. The other students have all been generally lovely. The surrounding area is pretty good but I live pretty close so I would say that. When I started it was better than its reputation proclaimed now it is going down quite rapidly.
