Re: B370 - Motorway speed Limit BillThats my fault, I was told to put that lot in but I must have done it wrong.(Original post by jesusandtequila)
Yes, if you get sort out the ridiculous section 2. Otherwise no, since not only is the section ridiculous for even a devolved issue - the issue is not a devolved one. -
Re: B370 - Motorway speed Limit BillWould be nice to see a Royal Crest on there, in addition to the above formatting concerns.(Original post by thunder_chunky)

Other than that, Aye! -
Re: B370 - Motorway speed Limit BillIs it devolved to Northern Ireland?(Original post by jesusandtequila)

Re: B370 - Motorway speed Limit BillI don't think so, but Section 2 incorporates the Federal Britain Act which went with the reset.(Original post by sandys1000)
Is it devolved to Northern Ireland? -
Re: B370 - Motorway speed Limit BillIt is, to the Department for Regional Development, which oversees transport matters.(Original post by sandys1000)
Is it devolved to Northern Ireland?
Even so, I'd like to see the end of a Bill presented as shortly as possible, so for something fully devolved:
From this, Commencement can be skipped if it's coming into force immediately.
Anyway, I'll stop being a nitpicky little thing and let the debate get back on track.Last edited by jesusandtequila; 15-05-2011 at 21:43. -

Re: B370 - Motorway speed Limit BillWhy?(Original post by Nothos)
but I'd much rather see no speed limit in the motorway. -

It's a start, but I'd much rather see no speed limit in the motorway.
We thought about it but instead decided to go one step at a time. We were unsure whether an autobahn style motorway would suit us or not.(Original post by tehFrance)
Why not remove it completely? fast moving cars, always moving reduces pollution... or so I heard

As if by magic... -
Re: B370 - Motorway speed Limit BillFunny that.
I thought it strange since not all bills were using that and since part of it was voided by the reset I won't be using that again. I'll just be sticking to the old short version.(Original post by paddy__power)
I told him to do section 2 like that and as such take full responsibility for it - just me being stupid

Re: B370 - Motorway speed Limit BillSometimes it's needed and sometimes it isn't. I thought it was here, but clearly I was wrong. I generally don't care about it too much, but recently many people have commented on the extend sections being incorrect so I thought I would try and pick it up but meh(Original post by thunder_chunky)
