It's American - season 2 is just on a (6 month) break, it hasn't finished yet.

I've only read 2 or 3, but I wouldn't say they were from what I've read. They're 'easy reads' - not a very mature writing style, i.e. perfect for 15 year olds. I don't know about later content though...

I only got into this because I love Holly Marie Combs(Piper in Charmed, now plays Ella) and then got hooked with the show in general, but because of the people on my Twitter I always get spoilers so I watch it at the same time it's aired in the US. Plus it first aired on VIVA and then restarted on MTV so I couldn't be bothered watching the repeats just to get to the second half of the season.

Ezra and Caleb are hot! I do feel like a 14 year old girl sometimes when watching it though lol

Ohhh I don't watch it live, sorry I phrased that badly. Although I'm up at that time so I might as well haha.
I just watch it on wed mornings on megavideo but there is a stream as I know other European fans use it (and theyre eastern European, talk about dedication eh?), if I find the link I'll send it to you. It usually crops up on Twitter.

Ah right! I do the same, but I use Hulu - really good quality, just have to put up with a few adverts. And find a way to pretend to be in the US

What? Wait a second!
They are going to air the finale this week and no more Pretty Little Liars for an undefined period of time? They have launched just 11 series or so. The first season was of 21 episodes, wasn't it?

Yeah, but in America they always go on a break for about 6 months. IIRC, it's back in January. It's like a mid-season finale.

Not sure if it's been confirmed actually, but I definitely read something about it a few weeks back. Oh, and there'll be a Halloween special.

Yes it comes back in January, American shows have a habit of going on hellatus for months, and replaced by other shows, and replaced by the original show when they then go on hiatus. I guess that's the advantage when the shows are shown over here, albeit months later there isn't a huge gap half way through where they're filming the other half of the season.

I read that, for once as we're being sneaky the Halloween episode will not be in February
