I used to put around 5 lines of x's to a girl when I was younger, those were the days.

An embarrassing amount. But it's only because we did it once or twice and now the predictive text on our phones turns 4 x's + space bar into about a zillion. I go for none or three or four on quite a lot of mine though if we're texting through the day. Not much thought goes into it, I get really embarrassed when other people see my texts from him over my shoulder though because it just looks like we're a completely vomit-worthy couple. We probably are. Ah well!

Analysing the amount you get is a bit weird though, if there's none I just assume he can't be bothered

I have to admit, I feel special if I get 5 or more from someone, when its usually 3 for example, like, I know I've done something right.
It's odd, but true.
