Old thread is old! Updating my last reply in here of 4/5 x per text, it is now more like 5-10! If we are having a lengthy text conversation this diminishes down to like 3 though, my thumb would get tired hammering the x on the touch screen otherwise!

Yea if I'm texting from work I just hammer out a load of x's, and then every following text gets a few less it's habit now though tbh so he would probably notice if I put only 3 and worry I was annoyed with him!

This girl I'm texting at the moment started off with 1, but it's somehow gone to 2. It went to three when drunk as well, but luckily that stopped.

I have a weird obsession of not having capital X though like after a ? as it looks so ugly... Xx. On Blackberry I'm so used to putting an X, deleting it, then putting xx now. Does that make me weird? I've noticed she does it as well hahaha.

No I get what you mean, I try and avoid Xx.

Anyway it's two x's here. It's a system which has developed really. Two x's is normal, one x means someone is annoyed (though I always use two anyway, I don't really ever..get annoyed, so really it means if she's annoyed). Three is just...an extra one if you're in a good mood I guess.

I always sent 'x' on the end of a message to friends I know and etc. When I had the bf it was lots because he used to send rows lol. However when it's someone I work with, I don't put any 'x' as I find it unprofessional imho lol.

Yes they do. That's why I always make sure to send exactly 12.61 x's at 11:00.

3, but that's towards the end of the texting conversation. We don't put them after every text.
