How much would 7000 video games cost? About $1.2million apparently
http://www.latimes.com/business/tech...,6539757.story
That is crazy.
That rather transcends 'impressive'!
I've not played it myself, but from what I've heard Just Cause 2 should fit the bill.(Original post by Mr.Messy)
Opinions on Just Cause 2?
I'm looking for an open world game with lots to do. It's either that for £5 or getting back into Skyrim.
Alternatively, wait a month for Dawnguard?

Re: The Playstation 3 Society IVJust Cause 2 is one of the best looking games on the PS3. The sandbox is huge. Sadly it does get boring really quickly because there actually isn't that much to do. The missions are boring, the plot is rotten and all the towns are extremely similar... All the destructible objects are handily marked in red whereas the rest of the environment is conveniently indestructible.(Original post by Mr.Messy)

It looks fantastic when you're hovering above the mountains at 10000 feet in a helicopter as the sun sets over the ocean, but down on the ground, the detail's pretty limited. Some of the towns do look quite good but there is nothing to do in them except start a fight, which will bore you to tears as wave after wave of brainless cannon fodder comes for you. The AI is terrible. The combat isn't that good, your weapons feel like toys because single enemies can soak up entire clips and there are maybe a total of 10 weapons to play with
£5 is a bargain but you'll be bored after an hour or two, even the most entertaining things like driving a monster truck down a mountain get old quickly. I highly recommend RDR if you haven't got it, the story is stellar, there are far more things to do, the combat is fantastic. Even Infamous, which is quite old, is good fun with variety in the missions and continually becoming more powerful as the game progresses keeps it fresh. -
Re: The Playstation 3 Society IVI still have a fair bit to complete without adding DLC to Skyrim.(Original post by Illusionary)

I do intend to buy Dawnguard though, eventually.
RDR is a great game.(Original post by Sniggey)

Just Cause does look like it could be great fun. I'm reminded of action films by watching some videos of it. For a fiver it probably isn't a bad purchase and I should get a kick out of it.

Finally got RDR i normally never replay single player games but rdr is that good
Im playing it on a better tv and the detail is truly magnificent riding through the great plains and seeing the sunset over a vast land is something
It got me thinking rockstar have nerve released a game that i haven't liked.I don't know what it is their games never go stale however gta iv got boring on the second playthrough -
Re: The Playstation 3 Society IVSeriously? Wow, that's an impressive time lag(Original post by pinkpenguin)
Metal Gear Solid 4 trophy patch FINALLY coming in August.
Like I need another excuse to play through this game
Doing the BBE again is going to be irritating though..
To my shame, I've not actually played through it yet so I'll have a good excuse to do so now. I've got the HD collection on its way now, though...

Re: The Playstation 3 Society IVI think they're releasing some kind of ultimate edition in Japan (no idea what extras are or anything) which has trophies built in so trophy patch going worldwide in August.(Original post by Illusionary)

Have you played them before?
If not. Play the HD Collection first (MGS3 =
) then get on it. It's a fantastic game if you are invested in the story. If not, it's an irritating amount of (albeit skippable) cutscenes mixed in with a short amount of very good gameplay.
The first two acts of the game are some of the best third person action I've ever played. It's great fun. -
Re: The Playstation 3 Society IV
I'm hoping someone can recommend me a new game...I asked in here before (well about a year ago!) and someone recommended me a game which I loved so I'm hoping someone can get it spot on again!
I like big open world games with missions and stuff you can collect and do, I have GTA 4 and Red Dead Redemption (which was recommended to me last time) and I love both. I'm really not into fantasy games, I don't mind historical things but no dragons/fairies/monsters etc please! Also something not ridiculously difficult would be good, and something which has the option to use cheats - terrible I know but sometimes I just like playing for the storyline/environment and I don't play online or anything. I was considering Assassins Creed but I don't really know if it's for me? -
Re: The Playstation 3 Society IVAssassin's Creed (I'd suggest wither Brotherhood or Revelations) sounds like it should be perfect; that, or inFamous (1 and 2).(Original post by LouboutinLove)

Re: The Playstation 3 Society IVBit of both. Just done it with two summons finally after helping someone else do it to get my humanity back. Karma!(Original post by AugustWestie)
Probably the toughest fight in the game, in my opinion.
Have you been playing alone or summoning people?
-
Re: The Playstation 3 Society IVI actually started a soul level 1 run through the game, but lost motivation after beating O&S.(Original post by Brotherhood)

Don't think I'll ever finish it, really.
Have you had many invasions since you started? Anor Londo used to be one of my prime invading spots.

Re: The Playstation 3 Society IVI'm a bit annoyed as it's the first time I've had to use summons through the game, I got Super Smough down to like a centimetre a couple of times solo but just gave in.(Original post by AugustWestie)

Had a few but got my arse handed to me mostly. Played a lot of it as a hollow until now where my build's started reaping rewards as I get the Chaos weapons and I can actually compete.
