I'm just thankful that my college work & then a holiday is keeping me away from eve for these next 2 or so weeks...

So while everyone complains on the forums, I'm staying pain free and will hopefully be back with all the major issues fixed

missiles.......... It is so good to see that CCP still works hard on improving the game rather than letting it fester like every other mmo

I have to say that the new inventory system is growing on me. At first I thought it was a little ****, but now I am finding that going between my multitude of cans and ships is now a hell of a lot faster with less window spammage. That being said, they do really need a search button or some way to group things.

The new Buffs to drones also might finally persuade me to train some Gallente. My Aeon is now also practically invincible.

CCP are getting surprisingly good with their videos. Who would have thought
I think everyone will just be roaming about in missile boats just for the pretty effects because after all, they are damn pretty. Though I don't think anyone could have predicted what one group doing just that resulted in. 200B isk lost including a Titian, lots of caps, and an Aeon that just was not invincible enough

The 60 day ones don't work anymore (Were just an xmas thing), but every EVE player can give out 'buddy invites', which are a 21 day free trial, instead of the standard 14 day one

Right, so interesting things happening:

Playing the DUST beta and it is pretty good, though still many weapons not brought in and lots of balancing to do (hilariously enough, rails still suck ass ) So I think it is actually miles away from being released.


Also, can someone tell me what the hell the EvE fetish is with the bloody tengu? So far it just seems to be and easy boat to PLEX into which has an OP tank, but utterly want dps unless you are willing to spend a fortune on it......which would really make any ship have OP dps.

100MN Tengus seem to be pretty popular at the moment and I think it's primarily because they have really good survivability. There aren't many engagements they can't dictate and if things go tits up they can either burn out of point or crash the gate.
