i drew a diagram of a retort stand and combustion tube, with the boat and solid inside, bung at either end, flame coming off one end, tube connected to oxygen tank at the other side, but inbetween the tank and the combustion tube i had a little chamber lined with sodium sulphate (drying agent) to dry the gas on its way in..

i don't remember a percentage yield question on that paper? on module four multiple choice i remember getting 70% or something for one of them :smile:
