I found the sciences hardest personally. They were the only ones I properly revised for. Ended up with As though. In comparison to A Levels, GCSEs are easy.

ART. Why oh why did I take it?? It took up all my time, and unless you actually like drawing (which I didn't mind before, and now hate) it's absolutely awful. It might not have been so bad over two years, but I did an intensive one year course and spent literally ALL of my free time doing artist study after artist study, and observational drawing after observational drawing -_-

Personally, it has to be Latin. My second choice would be English Literature, due to the timings of the exam.

I would say a language like Cantonese though, because it would be extremely difficult to master in two years!
I do Japanese and picked it up in year 7. It's actually not that bad. The grammar and stuff is so much simpler than other languages that you learn though, the most complicated sentence i've ever done is 'my hobbies are watching football, watching films and listening to music, among other things'.

I've been learning French since Year 7 and my most complicated sentence is a hell of a lot more complicated than that! I've also been learning Russian since Year 8, and the grammar is ridiculously complicated.

    History.
The amount of content you need to know + time in which to write it. Saying that I MISS history GCSE! It was easy compared to AS!!

    Food Technology.
Made about a dozen lasagnes, wrote the same thing in the analysis stuff changing the key word each time. -.-
Then I had to learn about fish. Basically the coursework and the fact that everyone was like 'cooking right' NO NO, I LEARNT ABOUT FISH AND HAD TO SAY WHAT THE EFFECT WAS OF USING A DIFFERENT KIND OF CHEESE WAS. Grrr.

I was just wondering, what do you guys think the hardest GCSE is?
I know they're probably nothing compared to A-Levels but I just wanted to know
I'd say law. It is ridiculously difficult for a soft subject.

Applied Business Studies. The coursework is massive, there's two units of it and it's so boring.
