Re: What's the worst thing that's ever happened to you in an exam?
Getting hiccups in a maths exam and being sent out!
Invigilator wouldn't let me back in until I'd stopped hiccuping, which took ages because I was panicking so much about the time I was missing, and then wouldn't give me the extra time at the end. Was not happy. -
Re: What's the worst thing that's ever happened to you in an exam?Yeah, that's understandable, i probably would have panicked too... At least it's over now, lol(Original post by benten17)
Sure, in hindsight I may have done as you said but when I'm minutes away from an exam I was dreading I perhaps wasn't thinking great. Maybe embarrassing is not the best word but I'm sure some people would have put 1 and 1 together and realised that the smell only arrived when I came back, although it was definitely a horrible and 'gross' experience.

Re: What's the worst thing that's ever happened to you in an exam?
Once in my french oral exam, my french teacher asked me what i like to wear something along them lines....... anyway my reply was " A SKIRT IN FRENCH " being an only boys school she gave me this look like wtf??? after she was like LOL!
At college there was this invidulator that was so hot, everyone was just staring at her, she was wearing a low cut top, and a skirt with her sexy tanned legs with high heels, at the end everyone was just commenting about her..... BIG DISTRACTION
I.T exam and French Listening exam.... Invidulator could not control class, instead of cheating everyone just started screaming, shouting weird noises or words and throwing stuff.... i was too lazy to even cheat and hardly anyone bothered, some did..... BIG MISTAKE, TOO LAZY TO EVEN CHEAT.
In the I.T exam though the head teacher walked in looking pissed and one of my mates had his feet up over his desk and on the back of the persons chair in front he got sent out and failed i think.
Once in college Law exam, one guy from my class asked to go toilet, when he came back he winked at another mate, the invigilator noticed when the other guy asked to go toilet, the invigilator said no, went to the toilets and found a book hidden under the toilet LOL!.... worst thing was they could prove who's book it was because he had borrowed it from the college library with his student card
Needing a poo (i dont poo unless im at home)
writing on the booklet then towards the end of the test moving the booklet and noticing the writing paper which you are supposed to write on
My worst enemy who's surname means he had to sit next to me, we were separated in normal class lessons and form because we would just end up getting into a fight, it was bad enough for former tutor from last year to give our new teacher a letter to explain not to seat us anywhere near each other... anyway during exams before it would start we would be swearing at each other so during the exam be pissed off, and the ****er in one exam called the invigilator over saying im trying to copy his work LOLLast edited by imMcLovin; 09-07-2012 at 04:58. At the beginning of my Law exam, I opened up some sparkling water and it fizzed everywhere, completely drenching my paper, had to ask for a new one whilst everyone was laughing. & in my P.E exam I looked through the paper at the beginning thinking oh this is easy, got cocky & started answering the whole paper to realise half way through we got a choice, I then crossed out the question I actually wanted to keep & had to frantically write it out at the end.

Re: What's the worst thing that's ever happened to you in an exam?
Nothing, which was disappointing after TSR raised my expectations of exams.

Although there was one female invigilator who I thought was wearing black tights. It only turns out from discussions afterwards that it was just her leg hair. Nom. -
Re: What's the worst thing that's ever happened to you in an exam?
Not really in an exam as such, but I almost missed one of my modular GCSE maths exams.
I'd written it on my calendar wrong, I thought it was an afternoon exam when it turned out it was a morning one; luckily my school realised I wasn't there and rang my house a few minutes before it started and I managed to get out of bed and get to school at the speed of light. By the time I got there I was shaking that much I couldn't write my name! Luckily they gave me extra time at the end so I got the full time.
Triple checked my exam timetable every year since.

Doing my welsh listening exam and not understanding a word it said. (Turned out they decided to record the tape in North Welsh. Very kind, considering they teach everyone South Welsh...)
Coming out of my russian oral exam and learning that instead of saying "to buy", I'd mixed it up with "to bathe" and thus spent 2 minutes describing a weekend of bathing books at my local bookshop. -
Re: What's the worst thing that's ever happened to you in an exam?that reminds me of my friends accident last year. He was half way through his maths C1 paper and his pen decided to leak all over his paper and went through to every single page(Original post by midnighteyes)
I haven't really had a bad experience but my friend did.
During the biology exam this year she opened her water bottle to have a drink and split it all over the paper.
luckily he passed

Re: What's the worst thing that's ever happened to you in an exam?I thought you are not allowed to talk let alone sing during exams time? In our case, if we just happen to utter a single word, we would be disqualified straight away...(Original post by ray of hope :))
it wasn't awful for me personally, but it was for one of the guys in my exam.
he'd clearly finished, and was in a world of his own because he randomly started singing. he went on for ages, totally oblivious. we were all trying not to laugh, the invigilators clearly couldnt believe what was happening cause they spent ages just looking at each other in confusion. when the poor guy realised he was so humilliated. we never let him forget it, which i guess is harsh, but it was one of the funniest things ever. -
Re: What's the worst thing that's ever happened to you in an exam?
I was so nervous in my maths exam... and I bite my nails (it's a habit) and then I start to bite my thumb nail so much it started to bleed so much and the blood went all over my paper .. it was embarrasing and I had to scribble over the bits of blood on my exam paper with my pen.. and when the exam ended I felt so red because there was blood all over my table. Eurgh. I know

Core 4 June 2012, spent 20 minutes on the first question, which usually takes about 1-2 minutes.
I have a habit of spending more time on the first few questions too. :P

especially at the end of the exam.
