Re: What's the worst thing that's ever happened to you in an exam?
I asked for an extra piece of paper and being terrible at tying the paper into the exam booklet,I ended up tying it into the booklet in a way such that the exam booklet wouldn't open properly and I had to try to stop laughing because of what I had done.

Re: What's the worst thing that's ever happened to you in an exam?
1) I was rushing so much in my Biology GCSE exam and I had one graph question left to do, which was 1 mark which I could have EASILY achieved but this teacher who was an invigilator also was staring over me and literally had his hand a few cm's away from my paper, ready to collect it.
I had JUST finished reading the scale of the graph too! 1 mark out of 45 is quite a lot, too...
2) In my spanish oral exam, I still managed to do well I think, but I stopped for at least 10 seconds just staring at the table...It was awful, I had a complete mind blank - I felt like just crumbling and saying english so my teacher couldn't do anything about it other than start it again but I recovered. I was about to cry during that 10 second pause haha. -
Lmaaooo!!! It's just as bad being sat next to the person! Lol!!!(Original post by nombo)
As_Dust_Dances, oh my gosh, wasn't it awkward????? Did not help that I had 20 minutes left to be stared at... -

Having a Year 8 dance lesson going on in the room next door.
Didn't happen to me, but for a GCSE RE exam my friend fell asleep and dreamt that she'd filled in the paper. She woke up when the examiner said there were 5 minutes to go, and had a bit of a panic when she realised her exam booklet was blank after all. -
Re: What's the worst thing that's ever happened to you in an exam?
My first ever GCSE exam in year 10 and it was science multiple choice paper. I was wanting to so do well and I got nervous and under pressure and completely blanked out. I failed that paper and got a D. After that we had a 5 minutes break before the next multiple choice paper was handed out I relaxed and was calm got full marks in the second one.

I thought you are not allowed to talk let alone sing during exams time? In our case, if we just happen to utter a single word, we would be disqualified straight away...
AND GOT AWAY WITH IT!!!

My AS psychology core exam
. I ended up coughing half way through and it would not go away. I had a bottle of water which I was drinking but it was not helping at all and I didn't want to attract attention to myself so was trying to stop myself from coughing which just made it even worse and louder. I was really embarrassed and by that time my whole face was sweating that I took my glasses off and finally when I started feeling a bit better I realised 20m of my time was wasted. I didn't even get to finish the paper, which was so annoying since that exam was meant to be the one where I had a decent amount of time left over to check my work.

The worst exam I ever sat was my AS Psychology exam. They put us in a room right next to building work, so all through the exam there was deafening drilling and hammering, could hear all the builders singing and their radios playing.
The room was so unbelievably hot, it was like a sauna, so they opened all the windows but that just meant that the building work noise was even louder.
The chair I was sat on was broke so I couldn't lean back otherwise I was practically lying down, but then I couldn't lean forward on the table because the sun was coming in through the broken blinds and in was my eyes.
Safe to say it was terrible.
