Re: UCL Applicant Thread for 2012 EntryYep.(Original post by aerobti)
what is the UCL questionnaire? I got an email a few days ago with questions on Chemistry (that's the course I applied for)
and I have to reply within 7 days. Is that the questionnaire?

Re: UCL Applicant Thread for 2012 EntryI'm not sure. I haven't gotten one (CompSci) and the last time I heard from UCL was weeks ago.(Original post by Rastagong)
Oh, hadn't heard about the questionnaire. Is there one for each course? -
Re: UCL Applicant Thread for 2012 EntryThanks, glad to hear so.(Original post by Lucevar)

I guess it might be a good sign to receive one, but it would stress me out. -
Re: UCL Applicant Thread for 2012 EntryYeah, I'm currently crossing my fingers and hoping I don't have to fill one out. I hate forms. ._.(Original post by Rastagong)
Thanks, glad to hear so.

Re: UCL Applicant Thread for 2012 EntryHey, when did you send your application? I've applied for biochem engineering too, but I have got nothing but acknowledgements from them so far.(Original post by Cath-ay)
I got a biochemical engineering interview invitation yesterday, but I had to postpone because it's during my exam period. anyone else in the same situation? -
Re: UCL Applicant Thread for 2012 EntryWere you asked for your UMS and module details before they gave you an interview?(Original post by huntl)
Well I was given an interview just before Christmas but to be honest I wouldn't read too much into it. My interview is on th 18th Jan but its proably just a case of getting through the applications since they get so many so I shouldn't worry

Re: UCL Applicant Thread for 2012 EntryHi, I sent mine off on 21st October. what about you? UCL does tend to take longer to when considering applicants. where else have you applied?(Original post by vandiola)

Congratulations. What are your scores? Have you already completed A levels?
Thank you..I am from an American-style school in Singapore. I dont take A levels. Our school uses GPA instead. -
Re: UCL Applicant Thread for 2012 EntryWould you be accepting the offer? what are your other college/subject choices? Do you do AP/SAT kind of a curriculum?(Original post by colorfulshadow)

goodluck.
I applied to five universities for nearly the same subject: Chemical Engineering(4 years master), namely: Cambridge, Imperial, UCL,Manchester and Sheffield. So far, I have received unconditional offers for the last three choices. I am pooling by Downing college while invited for an interview from Imperial. I scored seven 5 for AP and full marks for SAT MATH 2, Chem and physics. But still, AP/SAT is not compulsory for our curriculum. We have our own high school diploma, just like any American unis...If you are interested to know more, you can google my school: NUS High School of Math and Science.

Re: UCL Applicant Thread for 2012 Entry(Original post by Lewis :D)
Me too, I'm not UCL's usual standard at all, but they still sent me the questionnaire. If we both get rejected, we'll both have a little party together! haha
haha seriously, I'm an average student at best and only applied because it's one of the 3 unis in Central London that I'd actually consider lol -
Re: UCL Applicant Thread for 2012 EntryI wouldn't call that late lol. Nice choices(Original post by vandiola)

Applied to two courses at Ucl (chem eng and biochem eng), Bath, Surrey and Westminster. I've got offers from the latter three. what other courses are you applying for?
-
Re: UCL Applicant Thread for 2012 Entryohh, i've applied for biochemistry at all my other uni's, and have 3 offers, but yeah its getting tiresome waiting for ucl, I really want to go there!!!(Original post by Cath-ay)
