I've got quite a few pets
My cats
Mickey-When we got him we thought he was a girl and he was called Meg, but we discovered it was a boy so it turned into Mickey as it was quite close
Charlie-Just liked it
Boofle-We needed a name and we had seen the toy bear with that name and so that was what his name is.
(I used to have a Binka named after the TV show and a Phushka because he came to Puss and looked a bit Russian if thats possible)

My dogs
Pippa-We liked it
Dyson-We were once on a walk and we heard someone shouting a dog. We thought that the person was shouting Dyson but the person was actually saying Tyson. But we decided Dyson would be a good name for a dog and therefore when we got him he got this name. But he has many other variations of this that he gets called including Diggy, Diggle, Digslewoo (It sounds like they say this on sims), Iggle, Wiggle, Ziggle just to name a few...there are loads.
Tilly-We couldn't think of a name for her. We basically saw it and thought it was nice so used to. I now call her Tililah a lot though.

Fish
Oko-Mum and Dad were going to Stockholm and they decided on this name
(We used to have fish named Ruka and Kussamo named after places in Finland because fish have fins and then to continue this Finnish theme on we named another fish Moomin (Which may also possibly be due to my obsession with Moomins))

My dog was called Bodger. I was only 2 when we got him so I don't know why they picked that name.

I have 2 hamsters - Egg and Chips

3 chinchillas - Dusty - he's a lovely light grey colour, Shadow - he is a very dark grey/black and Baloo - he seems big and fat compared to the other 2 and is named after the bear in Jungle Book.
When you name your dog or cat just imagine if you have to shout out their name across a park or street. Don't have the Bob Geldof approach to names.

Bob, all of them, apart from the females (bobettes). They are fish. They spend all day going Bob, bob, bob.

A photo of my 4 pets. I think this picture shows you which of the animals is the dominant one in the house!

Dudley is the brown one on the left. Called Dudley because his breed tends to looks like an old man! He is a Basset Fauve de Bretagne.

Lucky is the small brown one at the back, she is a a Jack Russel cross something, we don't know what the second half of the cross is!

Bob is the black puppy, he is a Basset Hound cross Springer Spaniel and is called Bob because he is Bob the Basset!

Last but not least, the ginger bugger on the right is Tigger.

Aww how sweet! And as if you've got them all on one picture. My Dyson looks like a cross between your Dudley and Lucky. How sweet!
My dog is dead. This thread is bang out.

My Border collie/Kelpie cross is called Ruby and my rabbit is called Cosmo. My youngest son named them both.Ruby was so called because he liked the name and we've since discovered its also the birth stone for July when her birthday is.We were told that Cosmo was a boy when we got her, but one day my hubby noticed she had teats!.Cosmo was named after a cartoon character..........Cosmo the Fairy from Fairly Odd Parents!.
Some of you are going to have the most amazing, awe-inspiring pornstar names.

My 1st cat (that sadly died) was called Tiggy. Originally, Tigger but a nick name was formed, no idea why he was named that, I was like 7 and I think I got it from winnie the pooh, even though he wasn't ginger ha.
My 2 cats now are called Tyson and Tyzer. My brother named Tyson, after the boxer  and Tyzer was Tyson's original name at the RSPCA but we thought it was pretty so used it for the ginger one.
