hey everyone may i ask do we need to know how to prove thr formual for sine and cosine rule or we dont need to know thanks?

I think proof questions are rare in exams (if you're doing Edexcel).
Check your textbook with the explanations in, the Heinemann Edexcel one mentions ones that need to be proved I believe.

im doing edexcel too and i was told i had to know how to prove the sine and cosine rule, just in case...but i doubt they will ask you...

No not for edexcel.

I remember in C1 the only prove question I can think of that I've ever done on a past paper was an Arithmetic sequences one.
Just check C2 past papers and see how often they come up.

I think for C2 the only proof you need to know is for the formula for the summation of a geometric series.
U have to prove the Sn rule
Not sure about the others
