Re: Aston Villa FC Society IILOL(Original post by Phalanges)
That confirms it. I saw Agbonlahor on Xbox Live playing as Newcastle FC the other night, guess he's off as well. -
Re: Aston Villa FC Society II
Here we go; official confirmation on the OS

I guess that's whats going to be on the shirt then -
Re: Aston Villa FC Society IIBecause he is. He isn't completely certain about why he's not still living and working in Erdington.(Original post by JK.)
Why does Gabby look perpetually confused? -
Re: Aston Villa FC Society IIObviously you must have namedropped Villa at some point to somebody important.(Original post by Joluk)
Haha, this is so weird, i worked for Genting in Malaysia for about 6 months last year. Can't believe they're our sponsor.

Re: Aston Villa FC Society III can't express how overjoyed I would be to see a chocolate brand on the shirt(Original post by Phalanges)
I'm not gonna lie, that works really well (far better than betting or trading companies splattered across, anyway). Plus if they were our sponsors, free chocolate please.

Also, I'm sad about Ash, but I'll feel a little better if it means I bump into him in Manchester next year -
Re: Aston Villa FC Society II
I was hoping for Yum! Brands - the owners of Pizza Hut, KFC, and Taco Bell...

I'm quite happy for webcam, he was a very frustrating player at times, but he's been the best player at the club for a good few years. Might feel a bit different when I actually see him playing in a Utd shirt, I like the analogy of seeing an ex-girlfriend with a richer and better looking chap - I imagine the feeling may be similar.
Home Kit is out 23rd July, safe to assume it'll carry the same check pattern, but with claret body and blue arms. The check pattern is supposed to be a homage to the mosaics on the Holte btw...Last edited by hogso; 23-06-2011 at 15:30. -

Re: Aston Villa FC Society IILooking for fantasy bargains?(Original post by Da_hopeful_1)
So what would you currently strongest XI be, assuming Downing and Dunne leave, and not taking into account who you buy this summmer, so just from the players you have atm?
On paper I'd go for something along the lines of:
Guzan
Young Cuellar Collins Clark
Makoun Ireland Bannan
Albrighton Bent Gabby
But in real life Ireland and Bannan would probably be ousted for Petrov and Warnock (at left back, Clark moves to midfield).
