S2 urgent q!

when there is more than one function in continuous distribution function(cumulative F(x) ) how do I work out F(2.5) for example?

if there is only one function it is easy you just plug 2.5 into the function but what if there is 2?

e.g.

F(x) = 0 X less than 0
1|9 x 0 less than x less than 2
another function a less than x less than b
1 X greater than b

Thank you:smile:

You just have to use common sense as to where it could be.
